For a Dubai or Sharjah engine wholesaler, the first question is where the engines will be sold. Goods for your UAE warehouse and engines intended for an overseas customer need different document and delivery planning. Establish that split before comparing a container price from China.
Choose the commercial destination before the customs route
Dubai Customs distinguishes import, export, transit and transfer declarations. Its document list includes invoice, packing list and origin evidence. Dubai Customs declaration service.
Ask your appointed broker which regime fits the actual transaction, consignee and destination. Dubai procedures should not automatically be treated as the procedure for every emirate or free zone. An onward customer in another country may need a separate import approval even when the engines pass through the UAE.
Make the engine package resellable
A description such as complete Toyota engine is insufficient for a distributor comparing offers. Specify the full code, fuel type, gearbox requirement and included accessories. Record ECU, harness, alternator, starter and intake or exhaust equipment separately where required. A gearbox is not included simply because an engine reference says AT.
Keep commercial stock groups apart: engine only, engine with gearbox, and loose accessories. If your onward buyer requires a particular version, agree whether substitutions need that buyer’s approval before loading. Do not buy a mixed lot solely because the average unit price is attractive.
Preserve identity across a second sale
Give each offered unit a reference linking its code, photos, accepted condition and package label. Carry that reference from the China purchase list into your receiving list and any onward sales allocation. Keep engine numbers as recorded; do not substitute a catalogue reference for a physical serial number.
China is the supply location, not proof of manufacturing origin. Likewise, Japanese-brand does not establish a Japanese dismantling history. Ask which origin records actually exist before passing a claim to a customer.
| Purchase plan | Put this on the enquiry |
|---|---|
| UAE stock for resale | Legal consignee, receiving emirate and warehouse, engine/package scope. |
| Onward customer already known | Final country, buyer’s required versions, approval and document responsibilities. |
| Stock split between destinations | Unit allocation list and separate handling or re-export requirements. |
Compare the full handling chain
Compare the same engines and accessories, then separate China packing, freight, UAE handling, storage and onward shipment. Confirm the named port or receiving warehouse, container free time, unloading and return responsibilities. A CIF port quotation is not a price delivered and cleared to your stockroom.
Prepare a wholesale enquiry
Send full engine codes, quantities, required parts, UAE receiving location and intended onward destinations. LSVANT reviews available units for remote wholesale purchase or an appointment at the Guangzhou warehouse. Standard checks are manual cranking and photos; running or compression evidence requires a separate agreed check for the actual unit.
Questions before ordering
Does LSVANT hold these engines in Sharjah?
This quotation concerns supply from China. State where you want delivery; do not assume local UAE stock or a UAE collection price.
Can I buy a mixed engine-and-gearbox container?
Send a line-by-line list. Offered units, packing dimensions, weights and transport acceptance determine the loading plan.
