Identify the engine before comparing offers
Nissan’s Heritage Collection identifies SR20DE as a 1,998 cm³, four-cylinder DOHC engine. The cited Primera is a competition vehicle: its output and transmission specifications are not used as specifications for engines offered by LSVANT.
Do not treat “SR20” as a complete quotation code. Nissan also documents SR20DE and SR20DET as separate identifiers. State the exact suffix and gearbox requirement, and ask for photographs of the intake/exhaust connections, mounts and included electrical parts for the proposed unit.
Define engine and gearbox scope
Specify engine only or engine + gearbox, and whether you need a complete engine or a long block. These descriptions can mean different included parts: list the required accessories separately. AT/MT and 2WD/4WD are verification fields, not a guarantee that a gearbox is included or compatible.
Ask for evidence for each offered unit
Request photographs of the actual identifier, engine and included parts, plus visible defects. Ask what inspection, compression-test information or running video is available for those units. Each engine needs its own confirmation, even when several units have the same code; mileage, test results and warranty terms are confirmed only when supported and agreed.
